Children's Miracle Network is dedicated to serving sick and injured children. 100% of the funds raised locally stay local to help sick and injured children up to 18 years of age in eastern South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, northwest Iowa, and northern Nebraska. Funds raised provide direct assistance with meals, lodging, mileage, special formulas, and medications not covered by insurance. Funds also help to enhance programs and services, and purchase the most advanced life-saving medical equipment for use at Sanford Children's Hospital.

Provides educational materials and promotes screening for gestational diabetes, pre-diabetes and Type II diabetes. Ensures that people with diabetes receive diabetes education so they can successfully manage their disease.

Helping connect those who provide care and support for another adult with the AARP Caregiver Resource Center.

Services include pharmacist counseling, medical equipment, diabetes counseling/products/services, Medicare Part D, mail services, and over the counter medications.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Offers women's health services such as annual exams, personalized maternity care, ultrasound, laboratory tests, home-delivered specialty medications, radiology and imaging, and childbirth education classes.

Offers assisted living, designed for seniors who want to live independently but need assistance with some daily tasks. Additional services are also available, including on-site physical, speech and occupational therapy. Professional staff are on duty 24/7 to provide assistance.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Comprehensive cancer treatment services including evaluation and diagnosis followed by treatment for cancer if needed. Chemotherapy is delivered in private infusion suites and radiation therapy is done in a state of the art linear accelerator. An onsite medical oncologist and radiation oncologist lead a highly skilled team to develop a treatment plan.

Services include individualized treatment plans, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, sports rehabilitation, dry needling, massage therapy, and physical stimuli treatments. Also offers Post Surgical Rehab and Pre-surgery Physical Therapy.

Sanford Hospice is a specially trained team that is committed to providing our patients with quality end-of-life care. Our interdisciplinary team understands and is sensitive to the needs of our patients and their loved ones. Our team is comprised of nurses, medical director, social workers, dietitians, volunteers and chaplains. Hospice services can be provided wherever that patient calls home. This includes inpatient hospice, hospice cottages, nursing homes, assisted livings, and other long term care facilities. Hospice cottages, a unique way to care for a terminally-ill patient who is unable to remain in their home for care, are available, as well. ​​Ava's House features 16 adult patient rooms and 4 pediatric patient rooms. Services offered are short and long term skilled nursing care, physical, speech, and occupational therapy, assisted living, respite care, restorative program, special diets, IV therapy, comprehensive nursing care, social services, activities, and a full time chaplain available. Rental housing and supportive services for independent seniors is also offered on the Bethany Home Sioux Falls campus. Bethany Houses provide adults 55+ with a senior friendly home with building maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal all included in the rent. Seniors can also choose from a variety of meal and housekeeping services to support their independent living if desired.

Provides 8, 2-hour sessions designed to reduce the fear of falling, improve control over falls, and increase exercise and activity. What you will learn about - Changes to make at home to reduce the risk of falling, Exercises to increase strength and balance, How to set goals for increasing activity, and How to view falls as controllable. Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.
