Community Health Workers (CHWs) act as a case navigator for patients seeking help with addiction. Provides treatment needs and an assessment for alcohol and substance use disorders.

The Vermillion Police Department is responsible for serving and protecting the citizens of Vermillion. Community programs include DARE, Report It, ALICE, Red Tag Nuisance Abatement, Ride Along program, and year-round prescription drug take-back site.

Offers a complete health care facility providing in-patient and emergency care, lab and medical imaging, visiting specialists, physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Responsible for serving and protecting the citizens of Rapid City. Programing includes a Citizen's Academy and the Quality of Life Unit (housed in Care Campus). Also, provides fingerprinting services for residents of Pennington County (unless it is a pistol permit; that is done at the Sheriff's Office).

Services of the Madison Police Department include national prescription drug take back day, held twice a year. Unwanted medications may be dropped off at the police department throughout the year, call for more information, National Night Out and DARE program.

Moody County Emergency Medical Services provides a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance for all Moody County residents and visitors to the County. MCEMS provides stand-by services for fires, athletic events, and other community functions. The ambulance team can also provide CPR/First Aid Training, car seat checks, and other community education.

The Beresford Police Department is responsible for serving and protecting the citizens of Beresford.

The Sturgis Volunteer Fire Department serves and protects the community of Sturgis as well as a 580 square-mile area of Meade and Lawrence Counties. The Ambulance Service serves the residents of Sturgis as well as communities in western Meade County and eastern Lawrence County including lower Boulder Canyon.

Law Enforcement services for the City of Mitchell, SD include accident investigation, bike patrol, boat patrol, Citizens Police Academy, civil matters, Crime Prevention, DARE, drug interdiction, foot patrol, general criminal investigation, Honor Guard, South Central Alcohol Task Force, traffic enforcement, and Medication drop box.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is here to assist in helping all citizens and with due diligence protect them from being victims of criminal activity and listen to any problems they may have and direct them to whatever group or entity that can help with there problem. The Marshall County 911/ Sheriff's office receives all emergency calls within the confines of Marshall County which include the communities of Britton, Eden, Lake City, Langford and Veblen.
