Home Health Services offers more independence for patients to return to full health in the comfort of their home. They also develop Home Care plans to best meet the needs of each patient. Services offered are activities of daily living (ADLs), advanced nursing care, skilled nursing, medication management, continued care after hospitalization for illness/injury, post-surgery transitional care, and support services.

Huron Regional Medical Center Home Health uses a combined team approach including physicians, registered nurses, nurse aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists, and social workers. Services provided may include medication monitoring and organization, education on recently diagnosed illness or medical condition, wound care, catheter care and irrigation, pain management through medication or comfort methods, physical, speech and occupational therapy, communication and daily living tasks, and assistance with personal care.

Provides in-home personal care services including basic needs assistance (eating or feeding, companionship, and medication reminders), personal hygiene assistance (grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility), and homemaking services (indoor and outdoor home maintenance, meal prep, and shopping). This includes inpatient hospice, hospice cottages, nursing homes, assisted livings, and other long term care facilities. Hospice cottages, a unique way to care for a terminally-ill patient who is unable to remain in their home for care, are available, as well. ​​Ava's House features 16 adult patient rooms and 4 pediatric patient rooms. Long Term Services and Supports provides opportunities to enhance the quality of life for older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers through home and community based services.
