Provides friendship and free in-home assistance with activities to help older persons remain living independently in their own homes. Major focus is clients over 60. Small percentage of clients served are adults (over 21) with disabilities. Eligibility is based on need for service. Senior Companions must be age 55 or older, meet an income guideline, and be willing to serve a minimum of 15 hours a week and to reach out and provide service to others. Senior Companions are paid a tax-free stipend for their volunteer work and mileage.

Non-Skilled Services include personal care (i.e. bathing, dressing), companionship, assistance with daily activities (meal preparation, light housekeeping), and transportation. These services are designed to enhance the quality of life and promote independence for clients in their own homes or community settings.

Provides 24-hour nursing services, meals, activities, social services, and restorative therapy aids. Other services offered include personal laundry, beauty salon, religious services, and an exercise room.

Provides quality home health care to residents of the Sioux Empire, Vermillion, and Chamberlain communities. Services offered include care for heart conditions, complex wound care, diabetes education and assessment, disease and symptom management, education on a newly diagnosed medical condition, home health aide, home infusion therapy education, home safety education, medication education, occupational therapy, pain management, pediatric care, physical therapy, postsurgical care, skilled nursing, speech therapy, and rehabilitation therapy while recovering from an orthopedic condition or hospital stay. They are most appropriate for individuals recently discharged from the hospital and are not fully recovered such as after surgery or new diagnosis, individuals recently diagnosed with an illness and needing education, and individuals who have a chronic condition that needs frequent clinical assessment such as diabetes, kidney, stroke, heart or lung disease.

Offers complimentary in-home care for family caregivers of individuals living with dementia, fully funded by Medicare. The program offers $2,500 toward professional home care services to be used through the year.
