Mosaic Arts and Events (formerly known as Museum of Visual Materials) is an historic and LEED Platinum Green Building. The Old Courthouse Museum was Minnehaha County's first courthouse, built in 1889 with a 165 foot clock tower. The museum features three floors of history related exhibits, along with a variety of educational programming including historic walking tours, kids activities including summer camps, concerts, and much more.

NeSoDak - Located on a beautiful Glacial Lake, NeSoDak provides a safe place for youth to build relationships, develop new skills and live in a grace-filled community. NeSoDak specializes in summer youth programs, including 1-2-3 camps (two nights) for elementary youth, half-week and week-long camps for middle school through junior high youth, Servant Journey and adventures camps. Klein Ranch - Klein Ranch is a unique camp that offers youth the opportunity to begin to stretch their boundaries, and abilities, as they ride horses on 2,300 acres of Wild West ranch country. Campers can spend a week exploring the prairie on horseback and participating in other activities, such as hiking the mini badlands, having an overnight campout, playing games and more. Through the camp's small group community, youth strengthen their identity and gain depth in their faith. At Klein Ranch, youth also develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and for others as they care for the animals at the camp. Improves community life and the lives of individuals by providing positive experiences and learning opportunities. Community Education offers a variety of classes including on-line classes, music, language, computer, physical and emotional health and fitness, home property, hobby, travel, and personal enrichment for adults and youth. Driver education classes are offered at each high school for high school age students in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Focused on developing resources to ensure that citizens are equipped to meet challenges faced by family agriculture, small business, rural health care system, and school districts. Programs include statewide youth camps, rural and economic development course for high schools, rural and economic development course for community members, and young producers conference for those from SD currently farming.

​Deadwood History, Inc. (DHI) hosts a family friendly event on Tuesday afternoons during the summer at Deadwood Outlaw Square from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.

A place relating to its region, its community, its children, and their learning wants and needs. The Museum consists of 44,000 square feet of indoor space and 4 acres of prairie. The museum provides classes and camps for children ages 3 - 12 years of age, special sensory-friendly play opportunities for families that need a low-sensory play environment, and free play in the museum exhibits. Exhibits, both inside and outside, are broad-based to include science, engineering, art, literature, culture, geography, and history.
