The Healthy Living program consists of adult activities, group fitness, personal training, and a wellness center. They include: Rails Strength & Fitness - constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity, Group Fitness - more than 100 classes a week that are included in membership including specialty fitness classes, InBody Consultation - Body composition assessments for those ages 12+, Personal Training - staff can create a personalized training and nutrition regimen, Wellness Center - cardio equipment and weight equipment, and Lap and Open swim pool schedule/Swim lessons.

The Shrine Circus is typically in the Spring of each year, and benefits Shriner's programs.
Features a water coaster, slide, Olympic swimming pool, obstacle course, kid's pool, water walk, lazy river, picnic shelters, park, and a campus center with meeting space.

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation offers a variety of admission options for purchasing swim passes, whether you need a one-day pass or a swim pass for an entire year. Renewing a swim pass: Keep your key fobs from year to year, as key fobs can be renewed each year. Replacements of a lost key fob are available for $3.00 at the Midco Aquatic Center. Online renewal available online (for full price passes). To purchase a new season swim pass: Create an online account OR Visit the Midco Aquatic Center or an open outdoor aquatic facility to have photos taken of immediate family members for key fobs. Free or reduced priced swim passes: Summer season (May - August) are available for qualified families (immediate family members living in the same household, including youth age 18 and younger, stepchildren or foster children. Only two people over the age of 18 in the household can be on the swim pass) who are residents of Sioux Falls currently enrolled i the SNAP program (food stamps). If you qualify for a reduced or free pass, you must visit the Midco Aquatic Center or outdoor aquatic facilities and provide qualifying documentation, which includes: Photo ID Dakota EBT card (food stamp card) Proof of residence/physical address (must contain your name and current address). Examples include utility bill, credit card statement, pay stub/earnings statement, rent receipt, phone bill, tax document, transcript from an accredited school, bank statement, or any other certified mail. If a Sioux Falls resident presents an EBT or Medicaid card, their immediate family can get in for $1.00/person (only available during the months of September - May).
Provides fun activities for school-aged kids during the summer months. These include outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts, crafts, games, and field trips. Each week has a theme that allows campers to learn more about the world's ecosystems through art, sporting, nature, and character development activities.

Offers a full range of modern equipment and spaces designed to accommodate the wide variety of classes and programs that have been developed for the fitness of a community. Wellness area housing: treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, step mill, row machines, NU steps, Sci-Fit, strength training machines, and free-weight room with machines and TV. Other amenities include: heated indoor pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, racquetball courts, volleyball courts, indoor track, aerobics studio, cycling studio, and pickleball courts.

Summit Activities Center features an indoor pool with water slide, 2 gymnasiums, 3 multi-purpose rooms, cardiovascular equipment, multi-station weights, free weights, small indoor track, and locker facilities. Summit Activities Center outdoor facilities include 8 lighted tennis courts, an all-weather track, 2 softball fields, a walking path, and an arboretum with many different variety of trees and shrubs. Fantle Memorial Park Pool is located at the intersection of 21st Street and Douglas. Offers an Olympic-sized pool, 2 3-meter high dive spring boards, 2 1-meter spring boards, 2 small water slides, and a Wading pool. The Parks and Recreation department offers a recreation scholarship program for youth under 17 who live in Yankton to attend one swimming lesson and one recreation program per year dependent on class openings and financial and/or personal hardship.

This includes free admission to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and Visual Arts Center and various science activities including Avera Stage Science and fascinating demonstrations. Inside the museum is the Wells Fargo CineDome & Sweetman Planetarium that shows a variety of mission-based, educational documentaries.
