Provides nursing facility and short-term rehabilitation care in a home-like environment with individualized care plans. The SD State Fairgrounds encompasses 190 acres and 90 plus buildings and is available for rent for a variety of special events throughout the year. The fairgrounds is home to the South Dakota State Fair which takes place annually always ending on Labor Day. The fair is a showcase for agriculture and 4-H featuring educational exhibits, livestock shows, live entertainment, carnival, food and fun. The Monument is the entertainment mecca for the Black Hills Region. Crazy Horse Memorial, home of the world's largest mountain sculpture in progress, is in the Black Hills of South Dakota on U.S. Highway 16/385 just 17 miles southwest of Mount Rushmore.
