Provides numerous educational and cultural experiences for youth and adults that include preservation of the historic G.A.R. Hall and the following arts enrichment programming: monthly gallery exhibits and lectures (free and open to the public); youth / adult art classes and programs including: kids studio, kids art camp, and artist unleashed; annual kids art fest; artists in residencies; annual summer concert series (12 concerts); annual high school art scholarships and educator scholarships; annual summer arts festival, and volunteer opportunities.

An evidence-based program based on an understanding of dementia & the needs of persons living with dementia. They can freely express themselves by creating art with positive emotions and have social interaction with trained volunteers. An informal coffee group will be available for caregivers during the session.

Mosaic Arts and Events (formerly known as Museum of Visual Materials) is an historic and LEED Platinum Green Building. Mosaic offers low-cost art classes students of all ages and abilities Monday - Wednesday. ​The historic building is also an events venue for weddings, receptions, fundraisers, holiday parties and more. By maintaining stewardship of the historic Washington Street Arts Center, the VAAC provides a home to support artists and students, and welcome area community. Designed to provide an opportunity for seniors to become involved socially and physically, and enjoy community events. Provides a wide scope of social, physical fitness, recreational activities, and meeting space. Programs include bingo, weekly dance, card games like Hand and Foot, Pinochle, etc. shuffleboard, potlucks, exercise classes, and art classes.
