By maintaining stewardship of the historic Washington Street Arts Center, the VAAC provides a home to support artists and students, and welcome area community. Designed to provide an opportunity for seniors to become involved socially and physically, and enjoy community events. Provides a wide scope of social, physical fitness, recreational activities, and meeting space. Programs include bingo, weekly dance, card games like Hand and Foot, Pinochle, etc. shuffleboard, potlucks, exercise classes, and art classes. An evidence-based program based on an understanding of dementia & the needs of persons living with dementia. They can freely express themselves by creating art with positive emotions and have social interaction with trained volunteers. An informal coffee group will be available for caregivers during the session.

Provides fun activities for school-aged kids during the summer months. These include outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts, crafts, games, and field trips. Each week has a theme that allows campers to learn more about the world's ecosystems through art, sporting, nature, and character development activities.
