A non-partisan, political organization that encourages active participation of citizens in government and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League conducts voter registration at Naturalization Ceremonies throughout the year, sponsors Legislative Coffees, and organizes issue and candidate forums during election and legislative session

Purpose is historic preservation, education and patriotism. There are 10 chapters in South Dakota located in Brookings, Yankton, Rapid City, Sioux Falls, Custer, Belle Fourche, Aberdeen, Mitchell, Pierre, and Watertown.

The Junior League of Sioux Falls, SD is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
