The Historic Orpheum Theater opened in 1913 as a vaudeville house and seats just under 700 people. The elegant and beautifully preserved theater is known for its superb acoustics and hosts a variety of events including plays and concerts, business meetings, wedding ceremonies and receptions, and much more. The Orpheum Theater was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.
