Provides 2 Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF) for young women in nurturing, trauma-informed settings. The program offers an array of therapeutic services such as evidence-based trauma informed programming, special education schooling, individual therapy, group therapy, alcohol and drug treatment, and independent living skills.
A variety of therapeutic techniques are used such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), neurofeedback, bio feedback, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth.
Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

A referral-based program offered to girls, ages 5 to 18, with unmet health needs. This program addresses physical, mental, and social health needs by connecting girls with service providers in the community. Girls are referred to the program by school counselors, teachers, parents, and health and social service agencies. Each girl is assigned an advocate who will:
Connect her with the appropriate medical, dental, and mental health care services within the community.
Offer referrals for tutoring or other services to meet her individual needs.
Work closely with her family and school to ensure her success.
Assist her in learning and developing patterns of behavior that will enhance her health.
Emphasize the value of regular school attendance and good study habits.
Instill the importance of responsibility, self-esteem, and community involvement.

NeSoDak -
Located on a beautiful Glacial Lake, NeSoDak provides a safe place for youth to build relationships, develop new skills and live in a grace-filled community. NeSoDak specializes in summer youth programs, including 1-2-3 camps (two nights) for elementary youth, half-week and week-long camps for middle school through junior high youth, Servant Journey and adventures camps.
Klein Ranch -
Klein Ranch is a unique camp that offers youth the opportunity to begin to stretch their boundaries, and abilities, as they ride horses on 2,300 acres of Wild West ranch country. Campers can spend a week exploring the prairie on horseback and participating in other activities, such as hiking the mini badlands, having an overnight campout, playing games and more. Through the camp's small group community, youth strengthen their identity and gain depth in their faith. At Klein Ranch, youth also develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and for others as they care for the animals at the camp.
Outlaw Ranch -
Located amongst granite outcroppings in the southern Black Hills, Outlaw Ranch is open year round, offering summer youth camps, family camp, year round retreats for youth and adults, as well as hosting business gatherings and family reunions. Outlaw Ranch is known across the country for its top notch family camps, bringing youth and families together.

Eligible library card holders can check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, games, puzzles, tool kits, park and museum passes, fishing kits, and disc golf equipment. Access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming videos through the library's digital collections. Use computers or Wi-Fi, or print from home using the mobile printing app, and pick up prints in the library or at the drive-thru window. Get help with mobile devices - iPads, Kindles, smart phones, etc. Use the library's makerspace to laser engrave, print custom stickers, poster, banners, 3D printing, and more. Enhance job skills or get homework help using the library's online learning resources. Participate in library events for all ages. Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community.
The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County.
​Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Meeting and study rooms are also available. Contact in person, by phone, email, or chat through the library's website.
