Provides alcohol and substance treatment to the Rapid City (Mni Luzahan) Native American Community and other affiliated tribes in the region. The Native Healing Program utilizes the traditional Native American life ways as a method of healing the spirit. Offers the following: individual counseling, family counseling, substance use counseling, psychological assessments, outpatient substance use treatment, and grief counseling. Also, provides Codependency Workshops, 12 hour DUI class, substance abuse treatment needs assessments, and talking circle. Fully accredited with State of South Dakota for outpatient services. Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center. Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available. Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks. Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria. Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.

A comprehensive substance abuse program offering addiction prevention, treatment, and recovery support services for adolescents and adults experiencing problems with alcohol and drugs. Traditional concepts of health among many American Indian families within the Pine Ridge Tribal Lands involve the intersection of physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing, which are all seen as inextricably linked. Aims to assist clients in recovery maintenance. Recovery Support services includes formal aftercare programs, wellbriety, traditional pathways, and talking circles. Clients may have had their primary treatment experience within Anpetu Luta Otipi or they may arrive to the program in order to solely take advantage of formal and informal recovery support services. Recovery Support programs build on the progress achieved in primary treatment assisting the client to maintain a commitment to sobriety by encouraging a continuous self and environmental reflection. Recovery Support programs help the client continue to develop their problem solving skills and individual and family healing.

Behavioral health services include outpatient individual, couples, and family counseling, psychological assessment and evaluations (non-court ordered), and case management.

Counseling for individuals and couples, working with, but not limited to issues such as depression, anxiety, illness, bereavement, trauma, and abuse. Can provide counseling via online video sessions. Intake information is required prior to first therapy session. The session is typically a 55 minute session, much like those who come in for an in person session.

Provides drug and alcohol treatment for adolescents ages 13 - 17 years of age who are enrolled as a member of a federally recognized Tribe or able to show the lineal descendancy. It is a rolling admission and can be anywhere from 90 - 120 days.

Services include alcohol and drug evaluations, referrals to inpatient or outpatient facilities, low intensity outpatient treatment, 6 week program, Moral Reconation Therapy, DUI Classes for Standing Rock Tribal Court only, Aftercare, adolescent program, community awareness programs, and Positive Indian Parenting.
