Suicide Prevention Specialist programming to assist with prevention activities.

Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations. CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Addresses the following - marital and premarital counseling, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, women's issues, post partum concerns, mood disorders, and couples counseling. Offers telehealth services.

Providing mental health services to Northeastern South Dakota. Offers both in-person and virtual counseling options.

Provides individual and family counseling for adolescents and adults. Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC) is the combined use of horses, a licensed therapist, and a horse specialist working with clients to address various individual treatment goals. EAC is safe and all activities are done from the ground. No riding is involved.

Specializes in working with children, teens, and adults on a variety of concerns including couples therapy, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, general wellness and health, eating disorders, relationship issues, play therapy, and parenting. Provides individual therapy and marriage/couples therapy. Provides mental health and addictions assessments, early intervention, intensive outpatient treatment, and aftercare services for individuals, couples, and families. Providers treatment for concerns including addiction, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment, abuse, spiritual development, emotional management, stress management, family issues, grief, trauma, personality disorders, and relational issues. Offers in person services and telehealth services via Zoom. Services can also be provided via telephone. Clients are encouraged to check with insurance providers regarding coverage.

Individual and family therapy services specializing in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), trauma and abuse focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), critical incident stress management, Thinking for a Change Group, and Love and Logic Parenting. Offers telehealth counseling through a secure video connection. Clients are not required to attend an intake session in person.

Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.
