In-Shelter or Out-of-Shelter services provided to victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and their families, so they can make decisions about their lives in a supportive, non-judgmental and empowering atmosphere.
Ongoing advocacy is provided and assistance with obtaining resources to seek, or rebuild, a new and safe life. Provides courtroom advocacy, assist with protection orders, can provide interpretive services, and safety planning, and can assist with supplies for day-to-day living and setting up a new household. Children are welcome. Assistance with transportation needs can be addressed. Shelter can accommodate nine adults and several children.
Offers services for victims of child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, sex trafficking, and elder abuse including a 24-hour crisis line, advocacy, shelter, counseling and support groups, and counseling and services for incest survivors.

Offers a culturally grounded, trauma-informed continuum of care for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse within the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe community and surrounding areas.
Core services are survivor-centered and designed to promote safety, empowerment, and long-term stability by including emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and individualized advocacy. Advocates provide confidential support, assist with danger assessments, safety planning, and navigation of tribal and state legal systems, including protection orders, custody filings, and court accompaniment. Medical advocacy is available for hospital, clinic, and SANE exam visits.
Staff also support access to victim compensation, transportation, healthcare, employment, childcare, and housing resources. Counseling and support groups help survivors process trauma and rebuild safety.
All services are culturally responsive, emphasizing respect, community, and healing. Smudging is offered in the shelter, and clients are connected to tribal elders and cultural mentors for additional traditional healing.
A 24-hour crisis line provides immediate, confidential support, while community education promotes healthy relationships, consent awareness, and bystander intervention.
The shelter program also hosts Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault community education/awareness/prevention events to the public or organizations within the community.

Stop It Now! National Helpline offers a national toll-free confidential phone line, email service, and chat line for people who have questions or concerns about child sexual abuse.
The helpline provides a place for concerned individuals to talk through a situation and explore the available options as well as gather information. The helpline is confidential and caller id is not utilized. The helpline receives inquiries from people sexually abusing children, people at risk to abuse, family/friends of abusers, family/friends of victims, family/friends of adults at-risk to abuse, adult survivors, as well as general information requests.

Provides shelter for all suffering from domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and their families. In addition to shelter and food, services include: personal and rape advocacy, support groups, legal advocacy and referrals to other service agencies. The Women's Lodge can hold up to 18 adults and children before anyone has to sleep on the floor. Staff can also make arrangements if at full capacity or for other reasons if need be. Two-thirds of residents are usually children since most bring their children with them to protect them from the abuser's violence.

Immediate shelter services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained staff is on-site to assist with the needs of anyone with safety issues seeking shelter. Case management, counseling, advocacy, support groups, parenting groups, and activities for children are offered and provided. Meals are provided and personal care items and clothing are available as needed at no cost to the client.
Crisis intervention services include crisis phone, crisis drop-in counseling, support groups, parenting classes, 911 phones to public, safety planning, referrals to community resources, assistance with filling out protection orders, and court advocacy. Applications available to help victims of crime apply for victims compensation.
Individual, child and family counseling is available to victims of abuse. Public education presentations are available upon request.
