Provides Buprenorphine Based MAT (Medication assisted treatment) to help people with an opioid use disorder abstain from or reduce their use of opioids. Can only serve people within a 50 mile radius of Aberdeen.

Oyate Behavioral Health is a component of Integrated Health Care. Individual Behavioral health services are offered through Clinic Appointment and Telehealth scheduled appointments. Walk-ins may be available. Services are available for boys and girls, ages 4-14 years old, who exhibit emotional disorders and/or behavioral problems. The average length of diagnostic assessment period is thirty days. The average length of stay for residential treatment is twelve to fourteen months. The Special Education School Program specializes in the education and treatment of children with emotional and behavioral disorders. Initial assessment includes psychiatric evaluation, physical exam, nursing assessment, educational testing, family/social assessment, trauma assessment, and speech/language screening.

The Mental Health Service Line provides connection to outpatient mental health services, psychiatry services, local recovery coordination, care coordination, and peer support services. Also offers care for military sexual trauma, PTSD, suicide prevention and awareness outreach, and gun safety locks. Telehealth service options are available.

Program provides assessments 24-hours a day for mental health problems to determine an appropriate level of care.

​ Sponsored by The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine medical students under the supervision of internal medicine physicians, provide health care with the goal is to provide health care to uninsured patients over the age of 18 while providing a learning opportunity for medical students. Offers care of any acute medical problems and also offers STD testing and free flu shots. Psychiatry services also available during two appointment times (5:30pm and 6:30pm). The first clinic of each month will be for seeing new patients at these appointments while the second clinic will be for follow-up and seeing established patients. This clinic also offers prescription assistance.
