Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI) is part of Allina Health. Provides a continuum of rehabilitation services for people with short- and long-term conditions, injuries, and disabilities. The goal is to improve health outcomes, make it easier for clients and families to get the right services for their needs, and reduce costs by preventing complications. Provides relevant, evidence-based information, education, training, and policy guidelines to campus partners and community organizations which help prevent suicide, build skills, and raise awareness of mental health needs. The Adolescent Addiction Recovery Unit provide inpatient and outpatient addiction recovery care for youth ages 12 to 17. Services include 24-Hour supervision, residential treatment, intensive counseling, and educational support.

The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training. Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.

Offers patient education in the community and in schools to raise awareness on how to lower one's risk for chronic health problems and infectious illnesses. The West River Area Health Education Center is committed to expanding the healthcare workforce in South Dakota, as well as offering creative, hands-on and innovative health career curriculums for pre-college level students.

Strengthening and supporting children and adults through community based mental health, substance use disorder, prevention and recovery support services, as well as psychiatric hospitalization.

 Provides evidence-based information about attention deficit / hyperactive disorder (ADD/ADHD) to parents, educators, professionals, the media, and the general public through a National Resource Center. Offers access to resources such as training, videos, curricula, and books on topics surrounding the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and violence related issues. Training and resources are offered around mental health first aid and suicide prevention. Provides services to 21 counties in the N.E. region of South Dakota. ​United Way has collaborated with a panel that includes medical professionals, educators, social workers, and mental health specialists on anxiety, depression, and psychological well-being to develop activities to build resilience, by fostering safety, connections, and confidence in the lives of children and young adults. The program provides a new framework for mental health including training, guidance, and tools to address mental health needs and crisis intervention, and works with the Lost and Found organization to present and distribute information. This program is for parents, teachers, neighbors and other trusted adults who are involved with children and young people.

Provides substance use prevention services through the evidence-based Project SUCCESS (Schools Using Coordinated Community Efforts to Strengthen Students), and provide safe driving presentations through a Highway Safety grant from the South Dakota Office of Highway Safety.

Non-profit organization dedicated to prevent injuries through education and resources to the community and employees on the roads, at home and at work. Provides Occupational Safety & Health training along with First Aid, CPR/AED, Mental Health First Aid, and Defensive Driving courses. Also provides the South Dakota Motorcycle Rider's Education courses.

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. SDSU Extension provides Mental Health First Aid courses to adults, teens, and youth.

The South Dakota Treatment Hotline provides information on substance use treatment options available throughout the state. It includes listings of facilities offering detoxification, inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment services, along with resources for co-occuring mental health conditions. The program is intended to help individuals and families identify and compare treatment providers based on location, services offered, and level of care.

The WPRC seeks to divert or delay those we serve from substance use and other high-risk behaviors to promote choices/behaviors resulting in lifelong mind and body wellness. The WPRC primarily focuses prevention support services to stakeholders in South Dakota's 22 westernmost counties, but often serves an even broader audience. The WPRC's services include providing education, technical assistance, training and other support to prevention service providers, youth, parents, educators, community groups, social service providers, health/wellness agencies, chemical dependency service providers, law enforcement and other community wellness stakeholders.
