The South Dakota Treatment Hotline provides information on substance use treatment options available throughout the state. It includes listings of facilities offering detoxification, inpatient, outpatient, and medication-assisted treatment services, along with resources for co-occuring mental health conditions. The program is intended to help individuals and families identify and compare treatment providers based on location, services offered, and level of care.

The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training. Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.

The WPRC seeks to divert or delay those we serve from substance use and other high-risk behaviors to promote choices/behaviors resulting in lifelong mind and body wellness. The WPRC primarily focuses prevention support services to stakeholders in South Dakota's 22 westernmost counties, but often serves an even broader audience. Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. SDSU Extension provides Mental Health First Aid courses to adults, teens, and youth.

The Adolescent Crisis Care Center provides immediate, short-term care for middle and high school youth who are experiencing a crisis or may be considering suicide. Services provided are mental health screenings/assessments, observation, de-escalation/stabilization, and referrals to appropriate services. Also has Community Health Workers that will provide case management services.

​United Way has collaborated with a panel that includes medical professionals, educators, social workers, and mental health specialists on anxiety, depression, and psychological well-being to develop activities to build resilience, by fostering safety, connections, and confidence in the lives of children and young adults.
