Operates the Coyote Twin Theater, Vermillion's local cinema and venue for film, theater, music, presentations, and also operates Coyote Gallery, a premier rotating art space and venue for art exhibitions, workshops, classes. Both can be rented for public and private events; fees and conditions apply.
Serves and supports community arts and culture through partnerships and programs. Offers programs such as Messy Hands Summer Arts Camp, Vortex Film Festival, Fool's 48 Short Film Project, Art for Life (Creative Aging), Community "Free Movie" Mondays, artsHUB which is a digital resource for inclusion and collaboration among artists and organizations offering an events calendar, arts and culture directory, and a discussion space for connection.
Also provides micro grants for artists and arts events. Partners with other organizations to provide arts opportunities and secures arts-focused grant projects that improve quality of life in the community under nonprofit status.

LifeLight seeks to provide family friendly music events to communities throughout the region and country. Each event is invited by the local community and supported by the local community. LifeLight utilizes volunteers at each event.
Outreach events throughout the year are coordinated to expose thousands to Christ in a real and relevant way. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is boldly proclaimed at every event, with prayer responders on hand for immediate follow-up.

Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department | City of Aberdeen
The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department provides recreational/leisure services to the Aberdeen Community and surrounding region. This includes 12 city parks (including 3 dog parks), over 20 miles of trails, 2 softball complexes, Fossum Baseball Field Complex, Kuhnert Arboretum, 2 outdoor ice rinks and 1 indoor ice arena. Wylie Park and Storybook Land is one of the primer parks in the region. It includes 2 campgrounds, Miniature golf, go-karts, picnic facilities and bike and skate rentals. At Storybook Land families enjoy a world of imagination inspired by nursery rhymes and featuring the Land of Oz. Also enjoy a ride on the Train, Carousel, Balloon Ride and Roller Coaster.
The Recreation Division provides recreational activities year round for all ages including youth ball leagues, youth & adult tennis lessons and leagues, skating lessons, open gyms, recreational skating, cross country ski lessons, and adult basketball and volleyball leagues. Many special events are offered including Family Fun Weekend, Tennis Tournaments, Storybook Land Festival, Winterfest and Holiday Celebration just to name a few. The YAPAtorium Teen Center provides many activities for teens.
Other facilities include:
Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center (ARCC) where programming in the visual arts, dance, music, and theatre occur for all ages. Other areas at the ARCC include the Civic Arena, Civic Theatre, and the ARCC Gallery.
The Aberdeen Aquatic Center provides entertainment for the whole family with the lap pool, diving boards, leisure pool with multilevel play structure, 3 waterslides, and the Lazy River. Other activities include swimming lessons, water walking and adult water exercise.
The Strode Center and Aberdeen Dome are facilities available for public use and provides a weight room. These facilities can be used for a daily fee, a 10 use punch card, or with a monthly membership.
Lee Park Golf Course is an 18 hole public course which provides lessons and leagues.
Melgaard Park Disc Golf Course is a 9 hole public course.

Home to many large annual events, including the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo Rapid City, Lakota Nation Invitational, South Dakota High School Activities Association Tournaments, Black Hills Powwow, and the Rapid City Rush hockey team. The campus includes multiple performance spaces: Summit Arena, Barnett Fieldhouse, Ice Arena, and the Fine Arts Theatre. In addition you will find two large convention/exhibit halls, and numerous other meeting rooms all under one roof.

The Center offers a wide variety of entertainment from around the world, including touring Broadway productions, symphonic, rock and country concert performances, national and international dance tours, weddings and much more. The Husby Performing Arts Center is also the home of the South Dakota Symphony.

The SDSO works to accomplish its mission: To celebrate the tradition of live orchestral music and enrich the lives of people throughout our region through concert, touring, education, and community engagement programs. The SDSO is grounded in five core values: Community Engagement, Creating Partnerships, Lifelong Impact, Educational Opportunities, and Live Symphonic Music.
The orchestra's season includes four concert series - Super, Imperial, Classical, and Bravo - for a total of 22 concerts. In addition to its main stage series, the SDSO's touring program brings its 9 core musicians, chamber orchestra, and full orchestra to communities in South Dakota and the symphony's extensive education program reaches over 15,000 preschool through high school children each season.
