Hartford Senior Nutrition Meals is for individuals age 60 or older, their spouse, and/or dependent adult living with the eligible participant. Meals are provided by The Wooden Nickel in Crooks. - Congregate Dining: offered at the Senior Citizens building in Hartford Monday - Friday, serving time is at 11:30am. Sign up is required for the meal. Need to call 605-528-3999 by 1:00pm the day before the meal to sign up. Leave a message if no answer. - Home Delivered Meals: offered in Hartford and Humboldt Monday -Friday. Individuals receiving home delivered meals choose what days they would like to receive the meals. To sign up for home delivered meals, call 605-333-3304. When on home delivered meals, will need to call and cancel meals if gone on scheduled day(s). Call 605-528-3999 to cancel. Activities: playing pool, playing cards, and watching television.

Designed to provide an opportunity for seniors to become involved socially and physically, and enjoy community events. Provides a wide scope of social, physical fitness, recreational activities, and meeting space. Programs include: MEALS program (11:00am, Monday - Friday), Bingo (12:15pm - 3:15pm, Wednesday, open to the public), dance (1:00pm - 3:30pm, Thursday, open to the public), Minneluzahan Buzz Newsletter published monthly, card games like Hand and Foot, Pinochle, and many more, room and/or parking lot rental, potlucks, exercise classes, shuffleboard, and painting classes.

The Belle Silver Lining Senior Citizens Center (BSLSCC) is a place for senior citizens to meet and engage in activities, educational programs, exercise and dance, clubs, community involvement, and much more. Provides and coordinates phone outreach and support for isolated or homebound residents at no charge. Medical equipment available such as walkers, hospital beds, wheelchairs, etc. free of charge to those in need. A nurse is on site every Monday (2:00pm - 4:00pm) to do toenails, blood pressures, as well as answer any medical or home health questions.

Provides a meeting place for the community as well as meals for senior citizens. The Hill City Senior Citizens organization assists senior citizens in helping themselves and promotes becoming part of the community. Als provides information on topics of health and senior care as needed. Durable medical equipment loan available. Monthly breakfast on the 2nd Sunday of each month served 8:00am - 12:00noon. $8.00 per adult and $5.00 per child aged 5 - 10 years. Children under the age of 4 eat free. Serves a full breakfast for 10 days during the Sturgis Rally.

Daily activities include card games, Wii video game activities and pool Monday - Friday, except holidays. Weekly events include coloring on Mondays, crafts on Tuesdays. Dance every Wednesday night at 7:30pm and Bingo every Friday night at 6:45pm. ​Other popular activities include senior chorus, computer classes, bean bag toss, line dancing and more.

Members of the Pierre Senior Center enjoy friendship through weekly potlucks which include entertainment from musicians and speakers, Tuesday rolls & coffee, pool, bingo, and cards. The building is used by AARP for income tax preparation for seniors and low-income families/individuals. Flu shot clinics are held here. The facility can be rented for events such as receptions, banquets, meetings, family gatherings, etc. Seats up to 150 with 8 per table. Bus trips are offered two - three times per year. Volunteer opportunities - members assist with serving weekly potluck, making rolls for Tuesday coffee, and other activities such as serving special meals and helping with the rummage sale.
