Items that are NOT accepted: hazardous waste such as waste oil, solvents, ash, etc., pesticide containers, regulated asbestos-containing materials, lead-acid batteries, municipal solid waste and household garbage, liquid waste such as tar, contaminated water, used motor oil, etc., treated wood, cardboard, plastic, Styrofoam, packaging materials, sealants, dead animals, soil contaminated with fuels or pesticides, and electronic wastes. Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation operates the Midco® Aquatic Center and eight other facilities, including three family aquatic centers, two neighborhood aquatic facilities, three spray parks, and two wading pools. Open swim at aquatic facilities is 1:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:30pm - 8:00pm daily. Children 6 years old and younger must be supervised by someone at least 16. The ratio of children 6 and younger must not exceed five per adult. Spray parks are open 11:00am - 8:00pm. Swim passes are available to buy or renew.
