Also patches potholes, blades gravel roads, and mows along rural road sections. The Parks Division provides maintenance and improvement for the nine City parks. The Water Division operates the City's water wells and maintains the water distribution system. Ensures the supply of quality drinking water meets or surpasses state and federal guidelines. The Sewer Division oversees the sanitary sewer collection system and wastewater processing and treatment The Fleet and Vehicle Maintenance Division services all of the City's fleet and vehicles.

The Maintenance Department consists of streets, street sweeping, snow removal, and fleet maintenance.

Oversees the following divisions of the City of Aberdeen: Street Maintenance, Solid Waste, Traffic Control, Utilities, the Water Treatment Plant, and the Water Reclamation Facility. These divisions are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of roads and alleys, snow removal, solid waste collection, contracted recycling, traffic control measures, the maintenance of all water main, sewer main, storm sewer, and drainage ways, treatment and conveyance of drinking water, and the conveyance, treatment, and discharge of waste water.

Responsible for the centralized purchasing, maintenance and replacement of over 400 pieces of mobile equipment and vehicles for the City of Sioux Falls.
