Public Works & Engineering Division | City of Aberdeen
Oversees the following divisions of the City of Aberdeen: Street Maintenance, Solid Waste, Traffic Control, Utilities, the Water Treatment Plant, and the Water Reclamation Facility. These divisions are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of roads and alleys, snow removal, solid waste collection, contracted recycling, traffic control measures, the maintenance of all water main, sewer main, storm sewer, and drainage ways, treatment and conveyance of drinking water, and the conveyance, treatment, and discharge of waste water.

The Parks Division provides maintenance and improvement for the nine City parks.
The Water Division operates the City's water wells and maintains the water distribution system. Ensures the supply of quality drinking water meets or surpasses state and federal guidelines.
