City Administrator - is the funnel for information between the City Council, City Staff, and State and Federal agencies. The City Administrator assists in the preparation of the annual City budget, recommends policy directions to the City Council, oversees long range planning, directing the activities of city departments and carries out all other duties as prescribed. Finance Office is responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the City. This includes monitoring accounting services, cash and asset management, payroll, financial reporting and utility billing. Improves the standard of living in the community, promotes long-term and sustainable growth, safe guards property through the implementation of engineering standards, administers and manages the capital improvement program (CIP), communicates with city council, city staff, and residents on engineering matters in a non-technical manner, plans for infrastructure growth, coordinates with private developers to ensure plans conform to City standards, reviews and inspects construction projects for conformance with City standards, maintains design standards and construction specifications. Works with the City Clerk's Office to process project bids. Solicits public feedback for City infrastructure projects.

Responsible for issuing building permits and monitoring the progress of residential and commercial building projects to insure compliance with adopted codes and standards. Inspects all business within the city requiring grease traps. Performs health inspections of homes and rental property, on request.
