Many items can be taken to the Rubble Site free of charge (within a standard pickup truck-sized load) with a copy of a current Sturgis utility bill (see the Sanitation Policy for information); including batteries, tires (for a fee), leaves, branches, Christmas trees, etc. Please refer to the Fee Schedule for more details and pricing. The City of Sturgis Rubble Site is classified as restricted use. Certain items may not be accepted at a restricted-use rubble site. Please see the Unauthorized Solid Waste page for more details.
