The City of Freeman's Rubble Site accepts the following items: Burial Area: Furniture, Bedding, Carpeting, Plywood, Sheetrock, Pressed Board, Plaster, Siding (Asphat), and any Wood - Painted, Stained, Varnished, or Treated. Large Appliances Shingle Area: Shingles (Asphalt and/or Fiberglass), Tarpaper, Wood Shingles, Siding (Asphalt), and Vinyl Floor Concrete Area: Concrete, Block, Stone and Rock, and Asphaltic Concrete (must be clean of all other construction waste). Electronics: TV's and Radios, Computers & Accessories, Microwaves, and Small Appliances Metal Area: Scrap Metal, Sheet Metal, Metal Siding, Parts, Windows, and Doors Unpainted Wood Area: Wooden Pallets, Wooden Reels, and any wood not painted, stained, or treated. There is also a compost area of the Rubble Site that accepts grass clippings, leaves, and garden waste. Only trees and branches that are less than or greater 6 inches in diameter will be allowed. Household Garbage, Paper, Plastic Bags or Cardboard will not be allowed in the rubble site or the compost area.

Accepted items include dry cardboard, newspapers, magazines, phonebooks, tin and aluminum cans that have been rinsed out, numbers 1 and 2 plastic milk jugs, pop bottles, and similar items that have been rinsed out and had their lids removed. Does not accept pallets, glass, waxed cardboard, and packing material such as Styrofoam and bubble wrap. For curb-side pick up, recycling items must be in clear, plastic bags and sorted according to material.
