Project NICE/KEEP | City of Sioux Falls Health Department

Project NICE/KEEP is a neighborhood cleanup project. Place tree branches, yard waste, appliances, and tires in separate piles for recycling. Separate glass, sharp objects, and other breakables and put them in a pile by the curb - apart from other items. Do not set out hazardous household waste, electronics or garbage and do not place loose piles of rubble, concrete, or gravel on the curb or street. If weather does not permit cleanup at that time, an alternate week will be chosen. The Project NICE/KEEP Zone interactive map (coming soon!) is available (where you can plug in your address and find out if you are in the zone) Details regarding dates and time will be mailed to homeowners in the targeted areas. NICE (Neighborhood Improvement Complaint Easement) identifies specific neighborhoods at risk of nuisance concerns and assist the neighborhoods to address those concerns. KEEP (Keep Environmental Enhancement Permanent) works in conjunction with the NICE program.
