​ SFACF invests and grows endowments that are used to make grants to important social, cultural and educational initiatives, provide scholarships to deserving young people, and support the activities of over 200 local nonprofits. Grants from the Community Fund are available to organizations in the Sioux Falls area seeking support for new ways to address community needs, expand successful programming, or build capacity. Grants are also considered for agencies undergoing a unique financial crisis or conducting community-wide studies. Scholarship Program - For those wrapping up a general equivalency diploma, graduating from high school, or working toward a graduate degree, SFACF offers a wide variety of competitive scholarship awards to help people achieve their goals. Applications are available annually on December 15. Most are due March 15.
