Eligible library card holders can check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, games, puzzles, tool kits, park and museum passes, fishing kits, and disc golf equipment. Access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming videos through the library's digital collections. Use computers or Wi-Fi, or print from home using the mobile printing app, and pick up prints in the library or at the drive-thru window. Get help with mobile devices - iPads, Kindles, smart phones, etc. Use the library's makerspace to laser engrave, print custom stickers, poster, banners, 3D printing, and more. Enhance job skills or get homework help using the library's online learning resources. Participate in library events for all ages. Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community.
The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County.
​Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Meeting and study rooms are also available. Contact in person, by phone, email, or chat through the library's website.
