Members of the Pierre Senior Center enjoy friendship through weekly potlucks which include entertainment from musicians and speakers, Tuesday rolls & coffee, pool, bingo, and cards. The building is used by AARP for income tax preparation for seniors and low-income families/individuals. Flu shot clinics are held here. The facility can be rented for events such as receptions, banquets, meetings, family gatherings, etc. Seats up to 150 with 8 per table. Bus trips are offered two - three times per year. Highway Superintendents, in many cases, also maintain the township roads in their county. In each county, the Highway Superintendent is charged with the direction and supervision of work and keeps record of costs. The Superintendent must approve all bills associated with county road maintenance before payment. Payment for work on county road systems is made from the county road and bridge fund.

Food Pantry | Hill City Community Food Pantry, The
First request for food assistance will be handled on a current needs basis following a short interview process with the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary. An application for assistance will need to be completed providing contact information. A confidential record of usage will be maintained in the church office.
Users of the Food Pantry will be provided bags of food for 3 consecutive weeks. This amount of food should help a struggling family or individual to get back on solid ground.
Following the first 3 weeks, users of the Food Pantry can access usage of the Food Pantry every other week receiving 2 bags of food per person according to posted limitations.
If there is a change in an individual's circumstances additional assistance may be considered at the direction of the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary.
