A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Facilitates case management services and dedicates its efforts to providing parents with support during their childbearing and child-rearing years to focus on the important of health families. Offers the following prenatal and parenting education classes: Childbirth Class: Provides childbirth information. Topics include warning signs and progression of labor, relaxation breathing and other relaxation techniques, comfort and pain management, and newborn care. This is a 3-hour, in-person and online session. Breastfeeding Class: Provides education to families on the advantages of breastfeeding, guides them on getting started, addresses common issues, discusses milk storage, and offers tips for returning to work. This is a two-hour, in-person and online session. Sibling Readiness Class: Provides siblings and their parents or caregivers valuable information about becoming a big brother or sister. Tours of the Avera St. Mary's Women's Center may be available to learn about the place where mom and the new baby will stay. This in-person class is especially appropriate for children 3 years of age and older. Common Sense Parenting Class: Provides parenting education to parents or caregivers with children and adolescents of all ages who want to enhance their parenting skills. Skills learned can be used with any parenting style and with any single parent, two-parent, or multi-parent set of rules. Topis covered include parents as teachers, effective praise, teaching self-control, preventing teaching, and corrective teaching. Participants will learn how to reduce family stress, support success in school, diminish yelling and fighting, reduce problem behavior, increase confidence, and enrich their relationships with their children. This 2-hour class meets in-person once a week for 6 weeks. SMILE (Start Making it Livable for Everyone) Class: An educational program for separating/divorcing parents with minor children. Helps parents to better understand the effects of separation and divorce, the needs of their children, and the roles in promoting their children's healthy adjustment to separation or divorce. This program is approved by the judicial system for parents involved in custody or visitation cases. This class is provided online only. Pregnancy Education and Support for Teens: Provides prenatal education about nutrition and exercise, decision making skills, building self-esteem, adoption information, educational planning, Lamaze breathing and relaxation techniques, parenting skills, tour of an Obstetrics Wing, and newborn care. Young women are invited to attend and bring their family supporters to learn more about labor, delivery, and parenting a newborn. Parenting Education and Support for Teens: Provides parenting education about the challenges of parenting, child care, nutrition and medical care, play and discipline, community resources, goal setting, school and/or work, decision making skills, coping skills, communication and relationships, and finance and legal concerns. Young moms, their babies, dads, and family supporters are invited to attend.

The Victim-Witness Assistance program explains court procedures and terminology, explains and assists with Victim Impact statements, offers to accompany to court proceedings, keeps victims up-to-date on status of case, offer referrals to agencies, help prepare victims to testify for court or grand jury, distribute victims' compensation applications, and works as the link between victims and prosecutors.

Provides traditional and non-traditional worship services and adult groups. Also provides a children's and adult choir, children's groups (K-5th Grade) adult groups, and youth groups (6th - 12th grade).

A 12-step self-help support group for those affected by the compulsive gambling of a loved one. Local area meetings are attended only by those who have this problem. Gam-Anon honors the anonymity of members by not using last names, not speaking about our meetings, and not discussing those who are attending to anyone who is not attending. The International Service Office supports the individual Gam-Anon meetings all over the world. See website for a list of meetings. Local meetings may not always be available, but virtual meetings are an option.

Providing coordination of care to increase positive mental health and healing. Outpatient individual, group and family counseling is offered with many specialties in therapeutic methods. Psychiatric Services provide evaluations and medication management for youth and adolescents, working with therapy and case-management teams.

Provides pharmacy services including immunizations and vaccines, prescription refills, transfers, and disposal sites, $4.00 Generics service, pet medications, and Medicare assistance. Also sells OTC medications, vitamins & supplements, medical supplies, first aid, smoking cessations, and family planning products.

Individual therapy for adults, specializing in trauma, including dissociative functioning and complex trauma. Integrative treatments for trauma, as well as depression/anxiety that has not been responsive to traditional modalities. Mindfulness and self compassion focused approaches improve one's relationship with oneself and others. Seasonal experiential workshops, including equine therapy, are held periodically. Represents the interests of the state in prosecution of adult and juvenile crime and providing legal advice and representation to the county officials, department heads, and staff. The State's Attorney Office cannot represent private parties or give them legal advice.

Services include medical assistance such as in-home memory care, diabetes care, arthritis care, respite care, Alzheimer's and Dementia care, hospice support, chronic illness care, and 24-hour care. They can also assist with personal care (i.e. bathing, dressing), companionship, assistance with daily activities (i.e. meal preparation, light housekeeping), and transportation. These services are designed to enhance the quality of life and promote independence for clients in their own homes or community settings.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.
