NARCAN® Nasal Spray (naloxone) is designed to rapidly reverse the effects of a life-threatening opioid emergency. Naloxone is available at various distribution sites throughout South Dakota during regular business hours, free of charge.

CHOICES Residential Services program serves adolescents and adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral/emotional or psychiatric disorders. Components of the program include residential services, independent living training, educational services, and therapeutic and psychiatric services (individual and group therapy).

Provides voluntary residential addiction treatment for adults 18 and over in a safe, supportive and private setting. The typical residential program is 28 days and services may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), coping skills, individual and group therapy, family programming and other evidence-based approaches. Also provides medical stabilization for appropriate patients experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms. Nursing staff are on-site 24/7, and psychiatric and addiction care are available as part of the treatment program.
