Hy-Vee and Active Generations Nutrition Department partner together to offer "Your Choice Meals" - a hot nutritious meal for adults aged 60 and over, their spouse, and/or dependent adult living with them. The Hy-Vee "Your Choice" card offers the option of presenting pre-paid card at the Hy-Vee deli counter and selecting a meal from a designated menu. The diner can choose one meal per day. Sample Menus can be found on the website ​If interested, individuals are required to fill out a short National Aging Program Information System (NAPIS) form. The information is kept confidential. Provides money to purchase basic, non-traditional, or community services that may not be available due to cost or other factors. This program directly meets the needs of families who find themselves facing unpredicted financial hardship. These funds are accessed on a last-resort status when all other resources have been exhausted. The program currently serves clients of CASSP member organizations including Northeastern Mental Health Center, Avera St. Luke's Peds Therapies, Transition Services Liaison Project, South Dakota Department of Health, South Dakota Department of Social Services - Economic Assistance, Court Services, Avera Addiction Services, Safe Harbor, Aberdeen Central School District, Sanford Children's CHILD Services, Aberdeen Housing Authority, SD Parent Connection, North East Head Start Program, Northeast South Dakota CASA (Fifth Circuit), and Salvation Army of Aberdeen.

60's + Dining is a senior congregate meal program that provides a nutritious noon meal which reduces or prevents malnutrition, a major cause of other health problems. The program also provides socialization for the participants, which helps ease the problem of isolation among older persons. Persons who are unable to leave their homes due to illness or frailty may receive a home-delivered meal, while those who are able to travel meet at a congregate site for their meals. Participants in the program are asked to make a donation for the meal, but no one is refused service if unable to do so. Frozen Meal Program available to any client over 60. Quality, balanced, nutritious meals are flash frozen in specialty containers that can be heated in the microwave.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria.
