Provides follow-up service once a decision has been made. GI loans, Compensation and pension, Survivors benefits, Education benefits, On-the-job and apprenticeship training, State benefits, Social Security benefits, Employment and unemployment, Small business development information, Corrections of military records, Review of discharges, Medical and dental treatment, Hospitalization or outpatient treatment, Nursing home care, Residency at the State Veterans' Home, Rehabilitation, Information and payment assistance for alcoholism and drug dependency treatment, Burial benefits, Obtaining flags, and Information on community programs. Veterans are encouraged to register their discharge information (DD Form 214, Report of Separation) with the County Registrar of Deeds Office.

Provides 2 Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTF) for young women in nurturing, trauma-informed settings. The program offers an array of therapeutic services such as evidence-based trauma informed programming, special education schooling, individual therapy, group therapy, alcohol and drug treatment, and independent living skills. A variety of therapeutic techniques are used such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), neurofeedback, bio feedback, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

ICAP Housing Services provides the following programs: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs: aims to help two specific groups - persons who are at great risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless. Services that can be provided include case management, security deposit and rent assistance. These services are aimed at helping participants to retain their housing, therefore avoiding homelessness, or to re-enter appropriate permanent housing as quickly as possible. Housing Repair / Rehabilitation: Provides a zero-interest, five-year decreasing balance loan for eligible homeowners to be used for accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, in addition to making necessary repairs for health, safety and code compliance. Self-Help Housing Rehabilitation: Eligible participants will work with program staff to identify their specific needs and to create a work plan. The Program Coordinator will find the best funding sources available to the homeowners and assist them throughout the process. Weatherization and Furnace Replacement Program: Aimed at making housing for low-income persons more energy-efficient and less costly for the residents. The residence is audited and a list of needs is developed. The program provides the materials and pays contractors for the labor to weatherize the home (caulk cracks, insulate, weather-strip, fix windows, etc.). Furnaces can be repaired or replaced, if not repairable, through the program. In addition, some inefficient/high-cost non-operating appliances (range / refrigerator / water heater) can also be replaced in certain circumstances. Homeless Rent and Deposit: Helping homeless households get into housing. Must provide steady and reliable source of income. Applicant must agree to case management services.

Individual, couples, children, and family counseling. Staff tailors treatment to support growth and healing. Treatment specializations include depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences/abuse, post traumatic stress (PTSD), attachment challenges, parenting support, grief and loss, work and career issues, stress management, and conflict resolution. Offers BrainPaint neurofeedback, hypnosis, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), parenting group, nurturing parenting program, play therapy, adoption, parent/child relationship, foster parent support, and neuropsychological evaluation for attention, executive functioning, and memory. Works with clients to determine what is best for their situation regarding telehealth.

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation operates the Midco® Aquatic Center and eight other facilities, including three family aquatic centers, two neighborhood aquatic facilities, three spray parks, and two wading pools. Open swim at aquatic facilities is 1:00pm - 5:00pm and 6:30pm - 8:00pm daily. Children 6 years old and younger must be supervised by someone at least 16. The ratio of children 6 and younger must not exceed five per adult. Spray parks are open 11:00am - 8:00pm. Swim passes are available to buy or renew. Courses are divided into six levels, starting with Level 1 for children aged 5 and older who are comfortable standing in three feet of water without support. A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.
