Farm Service Agency (FSA) handles many federal farm programs and makes agricultural and commodity loans.
FSA provides financial assistance to producers who have suffered from natural disasters. Disaster assistance is available for a wide variety of disaster event, including but not limited to flooding, winter storms, drought, tornado, fire and other natural disasters that have adversely impacted producers. FSA disaster assistance encompasses livestock death losses, damaged or destroyed feed supplies, crop production losses, loss of grazing land, farmland rehabilitation, restoring water supplies, emergency loans and other disaster aid.
