Program for single parents working toward a college degree. People in the program receive up to $4,800.00 in funding, and are also matched with a mentor to help support them toward their goals. 73% of the parents who participate in our program make it to graduation. To qualify, must be a single parent within two years of obtaining a college degree.

Children and caregivers connected to The Foster Network may be eligible for support related to sports, extracurricular activities, and other enriching experiences. Before submitting a request, families should first explore discounts, reduced rates, and any other available local or state funding sources. When additional support is still needed, The Foster Network may help submit eligible requests through One Simple Wish, which connects specific needs with donors who choose to fulfill them. Furniture Assistance- The Foster Network helps connect families with bedroom furniture when a new placement, changing household needs, or sibling group placement creates an immediate need.

Providing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, telephone and online support for military members and their families, including family information and referral, situational assistance, tax preparation and filing service, and links to military and community resources. Services include relationship counseling, non-medical counseling for stress relief, financial counseling, document translation, spouse scholarships, education and career benefits, child care options, PCS moves, and MSEP Job Search Navigator to assist military spouses find employment.

Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation (SFACF) serves the communities of Minnehaha, Lincoln, Turner, and McCook counties. It helps people who want to do something good for the Sioux Falls area do it. SFACF invests and grows endowments that are used to make grants to important social, cultural and educational initiatives, provide scholarships to deserving young people, and support the activities of over 200 local nonprofits. Our most visionary fund, grants from the Community Fund are available to organizations in the Sioux Falls area seeking support for new ways to address community needs, expand successful programming, or build capacity. Grants are also considered for agencies undergoing a unique financial crisis or conducting community-wide studies.

Provides financial assistance in the following forms: Co-pay Relief Assistance: provides financial assistance to insured individuals who meet eligibility qualifications to help pay for prescriptions and/or prescribed medical treatments. Helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance companies don't cover. Financial Aid Funds: Provides small grants for expenses outside medical costs to patients who meet financial and medical criteria. Scholarship Funds: Provides academic scholarships for post-secondary school to young adults who have experienced the impact of a chronic illness or life-threatening disease.

The Zonta Club of the Southern Black Hills is a member of Zonta International. Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. Provides service dollars to programs that support their mission and honors women in the community whose lifework has supported our mission. Offers scholarships for high school graduates in the Custer, Hot Springs, or Edgemont communities. Puts together two fundraisers such as publishing the Southern Hills Directory & Planner, and Zonta Fest, an event that supports women in the arts and music. Also puts together Yellow Rose Week - a week that honors those in the workforce who make a difference for women in the area and Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women Campaign. Members also participate in other service and social opportunities and participating in one of the acting sub-committees in the club.

The Zonta Club of Pierre-Fort Pierre is a member of Zonta International. Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. The Pierre-Fort Pierre Club is a service club that generates money from the sale of booths at a Fall Craft and Vendor Show. The money raised goes to scholarships, grants to local organizations and to make and serve a meal at a local community banquet. Members also participate in service-related events such as a community garden plot to raise fresh vegetable for the local food pantry, a closet of gently used professional clothing for women and collecting donations for the local domestic violence center.

Provides funding for Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate students to pursue higher education. Undergraduate students are paid according to per credit hour earned. Graduate students receive the endowment incentive based on graduate level of studies and will be paid according to per credit hour earned.

Provides members to work together to meet common goals, develop leadership potential with growth opportunities in the club, district, or international level, and work on the advancement of women. Zonta Club of the Black Hills is a service club that hosts a yearly rummage sale. The money raised goes to fund scholarships, service events, etc. Members also participate in other service and social opportunities and participating in one of the acting sub-committees in the club.

Hall and the following arts enrichment programming: monthly gallery exhibits and lectures (free and open to the public); youth / adult art classes and programs including: kids studio, kids art camp, and artist unleashed; annual kids art fest; artists in residencies; annual summer concert series (12 concerts); annual high school art scholarships and educator scholarships; annual summer arts festival, and volunteer opportunities.

Scholarship Program - For those wrapping up a general equivalency diploma, graduating from high school, or working toward a graduate degree, SFACF offers a wide variety of competitive scholarship awards to help people achieve their goals. Applications are available annually on December 15. Most are due March 15.
