The Home and Community-Based Options and Person-Centered Excellence (HOPE) waiver provides home and community-based services to people who need nursing facility level of care. The waiver allows people age 65 and older, and people age 18 and older who have a qualifying disability, to live at home or in the setting that is most independent for them. 18-bed critical access hospital provides 24-hour emergency service, inpatient and outpatient care, ambulance service, home health care, laboratory services, physical therapy, and medication disposal.
