Family Support Coordinators assist families in developing their individualized plans and assist in accessing a broad range of service supports to meet the families' needs. Also provides follow-along support and available to assist during crises or when the needs of the family change. The coordinator will act as an advocate for the family. These supports are centered on the entire family, not just the individual with a disability.

An anonymous group that has formed to help others in need. Group asks only that those who are helped turn around and help three others.
The group meets monthly. There are no requirements to join the group. It is asked that each member give of themselves. Group members have agreed to pledge their own money and time.
The group does not accept solicitations from agencies. A request must be pitched by one of the group members. The group is open to informational letters or site visits. There are no paid staff or administrative costs, and all monies go directly to others in need.
If someone is in need of assistance, they can contact this group by sending a letter to Pay It Forward.

Applicants in owner-occupied homes are eligible participants of the South Dakota Low Income Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) Program. They may qualify to have their furnaces repaired or replaced if the furnace is not operating, or not operating properly.

These funds are accessed on a last-resort status when all other resources have been exhausted.
The program currently serves clients of CASSP member organizations including Northeastern Mental Health Center, Avera St. Luke's Peds Therapies, Transition Services Liaison Project, South Dakota Department of Health, Department of Social Services Economic Assistance, Court Services, Avera Addiction Services (formerly: Worthmore), Safe Harbor, Aberdeen School District, Sanford Children's CHILD Services, SDSU Extension, Aberdeen Housing Authority, SD Parent Connection, Head Start, and Salvation Army.
