Family Support Coordinators assist families in developing their individualized plans and assist in accessing a broad range of service supports to meet the families' needs. The Dysphagia Food Bank provides tangible assistance to low income individuals with dysphagia across the lifespan by providing access to thickeners, pre-modified foods, therapy tools, oral care supplies, and adaptive equipment. The food bank is available to all 50 states. Income qualifications apply.

These funds are accessed on a last-resort status when all other resources have been exhausted.
The program currently serves clients of CASSP member organizations including Northeastern Mental Health Center, Avera St. Luke's Peds Therapies, Transition Services Liaison Project, South Dakota Department of Health, South Dakota Department of Social Services - Economic Assistance, Court Services, Avera Addiction Services (formerly: Worthmore), Safe Harbor, Aberdeen Central School District, Sanford Children's CHILD Services, SDSU Extension, Aberdeen Housing Authority, SD Parent Connection, North East Head Start Program, Northeast South Dakota CASA (Fifth Circuit), and Salvation Army of Aberdeen.
