Transitional and Supportive Housing for Veterans | Cheyenne River VA Clinic
Provides transitional and supportive housing services to veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to financial hardship, unemployment, addiction, mental health, or transition from jail. Services include connection to immediate food and shelter needs, job training, life skills development and education, justice system navigation for community reentry from jail, and financial support to prevent homelessness.

Therapeutic Treatment Services | Abbott House
Provides residential treatment, foster care, special education schooling and independent living services to South Dakota children between the ages of 7 and 23.
Program offers an array of therapeutic services in Mitchell and Rapid City including 45 bed psychiatric residential treatment facility for girls ages 7 to 17 (housed in Mitchell), Evidenced Based Trauma Informed programming, special education schooling, individual therapy, group therapy, alcohol and drug treatment, and independent living skills.
Also houses The Bridges Therapeutic Foster Care program for children from birth up to age 18 (Homes in Mitchell, Rapid City, and Sioux Falls) and the Independent Living Program for young adults between the ages of 18 - 23 (Apartments are located in Mitchell and Rapid City).

Provides shelter, case management, life skills, and education services to young people ages 16 to 21, who are preparing for independent living. The program provides young people with a safe, supportive environment while they learn the skills necessary to succeed on their own.
The VOA Axis180 offers safe, affordable shelter, life skills education and training, interpersonal skill building, education completion, job preparation skills, mental and physical health care, and case management. 2-bedroom units available for youth who are parenting.

Clearinghouse for local food pantry, gas vouchers, utility (including water, electric, and gas bills with a disconnection notice), and rent help. Love Inc is not income based, rather they are need based. If Love, Inc is unable to help, clients will be referred to the appropriate agency.
Programs include: Friday Backpack Program (healthy snacks for weekends), Adopt-A-Student Backpack Program (supplies and backpack for the school year), personal care pantry, winter coat drive, Helping Hands Baby Ministry, Love Inc's Clothing Closet (a thrift store for the Canton community), and budgeting classes.
