Understanding Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder: For children ages 5 - 11 and their birth, foster, or adoptive parents. While the parents or parenting team is involved in education, supportive discussion and training, the children will gather in a separate group to work on developmental and behavioral issues. - Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically. Participants are taught to assess for risk of suicide or harm; listen non-judgmentally; give reassurance and information; encourage appropriate professional help; and encourage self-help and other support strategies. - Youth Mental Health First Aid Trainings: Offered periodically.
