Homeless Veterans or Veterans at-risk for homelessness have free, 24/7 access to trained responders. Callers will be connected with a homelessness specialist at the nearest VA facility. The hotline is intended to assist homeless Veterans and their families, VA Medical Centers, federal, state and local partners, community agencies, service providers and others in the community.

Provides support services to all victims of domestic violence/sexual assault to ensure they receive a continuum of quality care through unified efforts of the team. Through the collaborative partnership, the team is comprised of representatives from: local and state law enforcement agencies, State's Attorney's Office, nurses, staff and advocates from the local shelter, victim and witness specialists, and campus officials from local University and Technical Institute counselors.

Treasured Lives is a faith-based organization with a passion to provide a safe environment for survivors of any form of sexual trauma with specific focus on survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and sex trafficking. Free those in bondage, whether physically, spiritually, or emotionally, and advocate for a future in which they can thrive, and spread awareness and education regarding sexual exploitation in order to help end sex trafficking and abuse.

Offers the following services for eligible survivors of sexual assault: opportunity to utilize services without a report to law enforcement, mental health and medical services, volunteer victim advocate and legal services, and protective orders and duty station transfer. Also offers training in the areas of: sexual assault prevention, cultural change, self-awareness, male victimization awareness, and language matters. Utilizes a cadre of 40 victim advocates to assist in creating and maintaining a climate of respect and dignity.

Provides direct supportive services to victims of all forms of human trafficking and to those who are being exploited and are at risk of being trafficked. Offers a culturally grounded, trauma-informed continuum of care for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse within the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe community and surrounding areas. Core services are survivor-centered and designed to promote safety, empowerment, and long-term stability by including emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and individualized advocacy. Advocates provide confidential support, assist with danger assessments, safety planning, and navigation of tribal and state legal systems, including protection orders, custody filings, and court accompaniment. Medical advocacy is available for hospital, clinic, and SANE exam visits. Staff also support access to victim compensation, transportation, healthcare, employment, childcare, and housing resources. Counseling and support groups help survivors process trauma and rebuild safety. All services are culturally responsive, emphasizing respect, community, and healing. Smudging is offered in the shelter, and clients are connected to tribal elders and cultural mentors for additional traditional healing. A 24-hour crisis line provides immediate, confidential support, while community education promotes healthy relationships, consent awareness, and bystander intervention. The shelter program also hosts Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault community education/awareness/prevention events to the public or organizations within the community.

Provides the following education and support services: Crisis Hot Line is a 24-hour service for anyone seeking help or information on domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault. Domestic violence and sexual assault survivor advocacy services. Trained advocates are available to provide non-judgmental support for survivors, assistance with protection orders, referrals for medical needs/mental health/and legal services, food, personal items, diapers, other immediate needs, referrals for employment and education, and transportation to flee the area or for employment and housing search. Support and resource information by trained advocates to provide referrals for medical counseling, social services, and legal services depending on the victims needs. ​Confidential adult and children support groups which meet weekly. Available to all victims/survivors of past or present domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Call for more information on available groups. Community education programs providing speakers, videos, and materials to the public to increase education and awareness on the issues of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. A 27-week educational program for individuals who abuse their partners, Domestic Abuse Intervention Project (D.A.I.P.), is also available. Call for more information on community education programs.

Provides services designed to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault and support survivors. Services include advocacy, a crisis helpline, referrals, assistance filing protection orders and temporary protection orders, group support, transportation, and case management.

Offers outpatient counseling services for individual, couple, and families. Staff members work with the client to provide services in the home, community, or office at the discretion of the client. Substance use evaluation, assessment, and treatment is also provided. Walk in assessments and telehealth services are available during normal business hours at the Aberdeen location. Psychiatric services are also available to those over the age of 18 including assessments and medication management.

A culturally-appropriate, anonymous, confidential and free service dedicated to serving Native American and Alaska Native impacted by domestic and sexual violence. Advocates take a Native-centered, empowerment based and trauma informed approach to every call, text and chat. Advocates are available 24/7 and offer peer-to-peer support, crisis intervention and safety planning, information and education about domestic and sexual violence, referrals to Native-centered domestic violence, sexual violence service providers, basic information about health options, support locating health facilities or crisis centers trained in the care of sexual assault and forensic exams, and general information about jurisdiction and legal advocacy referrals.

Provides support, advocacy and a safe environment (through a shelter) to empower adults and children who have experienced domestic violence. Through leadership and education, SafePlace works collaboratively with the community to promote social change and to end violence. Intensive, non-residential treatment program providing services to children who meet the states' Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) criteria and would not be successful in less restrictive services. Also provides services to their families. Incorporating counseling, case management, and family support services, with the goal of assisting in the development of a nurturing and stable family environment in which children may grow. A counselor along with family, individuals supporting the family, and professionals will develop a customized treatment plan which will assist in meeting the needs of the child and family. Services provided to program participants include 24-hour crisis assistance, counseling services, chemical dependency screenings and assessments, case management, dedication management, psychiatric services, classes and workshops on mental health topics, early childhood mental health services, and play therapy for children ages 0 to 5. Some therapies offered in this program include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART).
