Behavioral Health Center | Monument Health

A psychiatric hospital offering a wide range of services for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and child patients. This center approaches patient care with a special emphasis on trauma-informed care as well as biological, psychological, and social concerns. - Inpatient Treatment: Available for patients ages 5 and older. All patients will be psychiatrically assessed and treated by a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist. Additionally, experienced nurses and patient care technicians provide individual specialized attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Inpatient Services: Specialized services include group and individual therapy, diagnostic testing, psychological evaluations, and family therapy. Recreational therapists provide a healing and therapeutic environment. Chemical Dependency Specialists perform detailed evaluations and treatment planning for patients struggling with addiction. Intensive case management is available to coordinate external services for the hospitalized patient. The hospital's clergy is available upon patient request or a patient's own spiritual leader is welcome to provide comfort. Hospitalization Process: If hospitalization is required, patients are provided a full physical examination and medical evaluation at the Rapid City Monument Hospital Emergency Department prior to hospitalization. Please proceed to the Emergency Department first or if emergent treatment is needed, call local law enforcement or 911. Outpatient Clinic: Offers individual and family counseling services for patients of all ages as well as psychiatric diagnostic interviewing and medication management for patients of all ages.

Provides counseling services to adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, ADD/ADHD, depression, panic, bipolar disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in order to bridge the gap while patients are finding long-term counselors. Services offered include medication management, adult psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, and geriatric psychiatry. Offers services in-person in Aberdeen, Sioux Falls, and Yankton plus serving statewide via telehealth.

Outpatient Clinic | Wagner VA Clinic

Clinic provides primary care, mental health, and telehealth services. No emergency services are provided at the clinic. Specialty services include: Audiology, Dermatology, and Anticoagulation Mental Health services: individual, couples, and group psychotherapy Audiology services including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and replacement, are provided on Tuesdays, Thursday afternoons and Friday afternoons at the CBOC. The following programs and specialty care are available by telehealth: Cardiology, Diabetes Management, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genomic Medicine, Infectious Disease, mental health services, Nephrology, Neurology, Nutrition, Oncology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Physical Therapy, Prosthetics, Pulmonary, and VIST (low Vision).

Behavioral Health Center | Monument Health

A psychiatric hospital offering a wide range of services for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and child patients. This center approaches patient care with a special emphasis on trauma-informed care as well as biological, psychological, and social concerns. - Inpatient Treatment: Available for patients ages 5 and older. All patients will be psychiatrically assessed and treated by a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist. Additionally, experienced nurses and patient care technicians provide individual specialized attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Inpatient Services: Specialized services include group and individual therapy, diagnostic testing, psychological evaluations, and family therapy. Recreational therapists provide a healing and therapeutic environment. Chemical Dependency Specialists perform detailed evaluations and treatment planning for patients struggling with addiction. Intensive case management is available to coordinate external services for the hospitalized patient. The hospital's clergy is available upon patient request or a patient's own spiritual leader is welcome to provide comfort. Hospitalization Process: If hospitalization is required, patients are provided a full physical examination and medical evaluation at the Rapid City Monument Hospital Emergency Department prior to hospitalization. Please proceed to the Emergency Department first or if emergent treatment is needed, call local law enforcement or 911. Outpatient Clinic: Offers individual and family counseling services for patients of all ages as well as psychiatric diagnostic interviewing and medication management for patients of all ages.

Psychiatric care for people with anxiety, depression, mental illness, and addiction disorders. Staffed with a psychiatrist and counselor. Provides Buprenorphine Based MAT (Medication assisted treatment) to help people with an opioid use disorder abstain from or reduce their use of opioids. Can only serve people within a 50 mile radius of Aberdeen.
