An outpatient counseling center that specializes in mental health therapy, marriage and family therapy and substance abuse, gambling and pornography addiction, along with other compulsive behaviors. Services are offered in a safe, graced filled environment where an authentic connection with a therapist and client is formed. The philosophy of care is to meet clients where they are at, help them navigate through the difficulties of their life and empower them to see positive improvements in their life by offering clinically proven skills and tools that research has shown has helped many in our 20 years of practice. Available services include individual psychotherapy, group therapy, marriage and family therapy, couples counseling, Christian counseling, outpatient substance abuse treatment, gambling treatment, pornography addiction treatment, intimacy disorder treatment, spouse of sex addict treatment, family recovery therapy, internet and gaming treatment, spiritual direction, life coaching, psychotherapy for pastors, ministry leaders, non-profit leaders, and business executives, and treatment also for anxiety, depression, trauma and grief issues along with a variety of other mental and emotional distress.

Provides adults with behavioral health services focusing on addiction and co-occurring disorders. Services include intensive outpatient treatment, after care, individual and group counseling, and 12-hour DUI classes. Walk-in assessments and telehealth services available.

Provides alcohol and substance treatment to the Rapid City (Mni Luzahan) Native American Community and other affiliated tribes in the region. The Native Healing Program utilizes the traditional Native American life ways as a method of healing the spirit. Offers outpatient counseling services for individual, couple, and families. Staff members work with the client to provide services in the home, community, or office at the discretion of the client. Substance use evaluation, assessment, and treatment is also provided. Walk in assessments and telehealth services are available during normal business hours at the Aberdeen location. Psychiatric services are also available to those over the age of 18 including assessments and medication management.

Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center. Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available. Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks. Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria. Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing. Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.

Services offered include addiction counseling, chemical dependency assessments, grief counseling, and peer support. Certain therapy modalities are also available such as Motivational Interviewing, Moral Reconation Therapy, Talk Therapy, and more. Services are unavailable for people in formal treatment services elsewhere unless approved by your provider, which will require confirmation.

Horizon Health - Huron is full-service medical clinic offering the following services - preventative screenings, acute care, chronic care management, well child visits, men's and women's health, immunizations, family planning, lab/x-ray, prenatal care, patient education, care management, DOT exams, immigration physicals, after-hours access to care, and Certified Application Counselors for the Health Insurance Marketplace. Horizon Health - Huron also offers behavioral health services: medication management, counseling, case management, integrated care, addiction services, and Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth. Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

A residential substance abuse treatment and prevention program for pregnant and parenting women. Intensive inpatient treatment is offered along with prenatal care, parenting information, case management, and continued care in a residential facility for those who have completed treatment. Also, offers MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment).

Provides evaluation and treatment for Methamphetamines, including adult residential treatment.

The Counseling Center offers the following services (all services based on eligibility and priority needs): Substance abuse services include screening, intake, evaluation, referrals, aftercare, primary prevention programs, education, MRT/SBISA classes, and group counseling. ​Mental health services include couples therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, Education, Referrals, and Psychological evaluations and services.

Behavioral health services include outpatient individual, couples, and family counseling, psychological assessment and evaluations (non-court ordered), and case management.

Provides substance and alcohol use prevention, intervention, and continuum of care, behavioral health case management and issues encountered in a conditional behavior environment-(Assimilation). Services provided include alcohol and drug screenings/assessments and substance use and abuse prevention/education/intervention with a cultural approach to healing and cultural identity development.

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments (walk-in assessments available), day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. This office is located close to the SAM (Sioux Area Metro) Orange bus route.

Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Treatment, CBT group therapy, Crossroads group (Christians affected by addiction), Aftercare, and Alumni group are also available.
