Offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and a variation of programs to fit individual needs, from education, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient and aftercare.

Provides non-judgmental whole patient care for individuals affected by or suffering from substance use disorder. Provides in-house services and works closely with state and community stakeholders for warm-handoffs and referrals such as counseling, primary care needs, psychiatry, food, housing, employment and financial assistance. Services can assist with various types of substance use disorders including methamphetamine, opioids, alcohol and tobacco. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) also available. Individuals in this program will receive a dedicated care coordinator to develop customized plans to meet individual needs and be an ongoing resource and support person for the individual as they navigate recovery.

Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability. Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Providing mental health and addiction recovery services (including dual diagnosis) to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Services include: mental health/addiction evaluations, screenings and treatment services for addiction, adjustment disorders, anger management, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), Asperger's Syndrome, behavior problems, conduct concerns, depression, grief, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), parent-child conflicts, post-traumatic stress, school refusal, separation and divorce, family issues, social skills training and stress management. South Dakota court approved treatment provider and provides court approved alcohol and drug assessments/evaluations and screenings including Individual 1st Offender DUI Education, Intensive Outpatient Services (IOP) and Aftercare. Virtual and in-office sessions available.

Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center. Pre-treatment Evaluations: Provides screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement. Walk-in Assessments for Substance Use available. Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks. Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria. Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing. Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.
