Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Detoxification Service: Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center. Adult Outpatient Program: Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks. Adolescent Program: Provides outpatient treatment and continuing care services to adolescents that meet the eligibility criteria. Prenatal Empowerment Program (PEP): Works primarily with pregnant women who are struggling with substance addiction. A case manager will do addiction assessments, assist with medical applications and applications for Substance Abuse Treatment Centers, coordinate transportation for clients to off-reservation treatment centers, and conduct outpatient group sessions utilizing the Matrix Model to promote healing. Also, provides continuing care services and DUI offender classes.

Provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (Suboxone, Naloxone, Vivitrol) addressing opioid, alcohol, heroin, and methamphetamine addictions. Physically located in Rapid City, SD, but providing services anywhere in South Dakota via Telemedicine. ​​Medication assisted treatment is the use of FDA-approved medications in combination with counseling and other therapies to provide a whole-patient approach to treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Provides outpatient treatment services to adults with severe substance use disorders. Services include individual counseling, outpatient substance abuse treatment, after care, group therapy, family intervention, cultural practice-based services, and ASAM criteria/Rule 25 assessments.

Provides non-judgmental whole patient care for individuals affected by or suffering from substance use disorder. Provides in-house services and works closely with state and community stakeholders for warm-handoffs and referrals such as counseling, primary care needs, psychiatry, food, housing, employment and financial assistance.
