Outpatient Services | Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Services

Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations. CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Services | South Dakota Urban Indian Health

Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability. Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Counseling Services | Community Counseling Services

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Medication-Assisted Treatment | Project Recovery

Provides Medication-Assisted Treatment (Suboxone, Naloxone, Vivitrol) addressing opioid, alcohol, heroin, and methamphetamine addictions. Physically located in Rapid City, SD, but providing services anywhere in South Dakota via Telemedicine. ​​Medication assisted treatment is the use of FDA-approved medications in combination with counseling and other therapies to provide a whole-patient approach to treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Other services include MAT services, HIV/HCV screenings, lab work, pregnancy tests, specialty and primary care referrals; Medication assistance programs, and Patient advocacy & resource connection. An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments (walk-in assessments available), day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. Counseling Services | Community Counseling Services

Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.
