Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.

Provides in-house services and works closely with state and community stakeholders for warm-handoffs and referrals such as counseling, primary care needs, psychiatry, food, housing, employment and financial assistance. Services can assist with various types of substance use disorders including methamphetamine, opioids, alcohol and tobacco. Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) also available. Individuals in this program will receive a dedicated care coordinator to develop customized plans to meet individual needs and be an ongoing resource and support person for the individual as they navigate recovery.

The Ryan White Part C program helps HIV positive people who live in Eastern SD to access primary health care. All patients who apply for the Part C Program will have access to case management services. The case managers help people with HIV/AIDS find services they need such as medical care, health insurance assistance, assistance with paying for medications, financial help, food/nutrition assistance, housing, referral to substance use treatment programs and/or mental health services, transportation, and other types of services. The Part C Program is a payer of last resort. Patients that are eligible for compensation through other programs, such as Medicare, Medicaid, or private health insurance, must first access assistance through those programs. Funds are available to assist with primary care, lab testing, emergency prescriptions, outpatient mental health therapy, outpatient substance abuse treatment, dental care, transportation, outpatient nutritional services, and medical and non-medical case management. Other services include nurse case management, social work case management services, and HIV testing.
