Individual, couples, and family therapy for the treatment of various adjustment problems and psychological disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Special areas of expertise include: pain management, stress management, complicated grief and loss, spirituality issues, parenting adult children, chronic illness, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, parent education, abuse, eating disorders, marital infidelity issues, substance abuse issues, immigration adjustment concerns, and culturally relevant services. Therapeutic methods used include: acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic therapy. Telehealth available for all sessions. May request sessions via telehealth, in-person or a combination. Will teach new clients how to use telehealth services.

An inpatient alcohol, drug, and gambling treatment programs for adults. Care provided by: 24 hour nursing staff, a full-time psychologist, 24 hour on-call doctor, Certified chemical dependency counselors, and ASAM certified Addictionologists. Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.

Lifeways has school-based Addiction and Prevention Counselors in the Rapid City Area School District and limited services in the Douglas School District. Addiction Counselors are also available at main office in Rapid City for all adolescents (public, private and home-schooled) who are experiencing problems with substance use and in need of screening and/or assessment and treatment.

Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Carroll Counseling Services is comprised of a team of credentialed mental health professionals committed to offering safe and confidential services as individuals engage in their own therapeutic journey. Provides individual, couples, and family services for those experiencing personal, relational, and psychological issues. Walk-in substance use assessments and telehealth services available.

Substance use evaluation, assessment, and treatment is also provided. Walk in assessments and telehealth services are available during normal business hours at the Aberdeen location. Psychiatric services are also available to those over the age of 18 including assessments and medication management.

Services include behavioral health (including Substance Use Prevention), Community Health Representatives, dental care, diabetes care, health promotion/disease prevention, immunizations, laboratory, nursing, medical imaging, optometry, pharmacy (Prescription Assistance if eligible), Primary Care, public health nursing, smoking cessation, specialty clinics (e.g. OB/GYN, Mammography, Telehealth), weight loss/nutrition, well child care, women's health, and Wowasake Wellness Center

Offers adherent and comprehensive dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) along with trauma treatment. Currently serve adults, adolescents (12 - 17) and LGBTQ+ individuals who struggle with suicide, self-harming, eating disorders, chemical dependency, trauma, borderline personality disorder (BPD), unresponsive anxiety and depression. DBT is proven to be effective at helping individuals step away from harmful behaviors and experience a life worth living. Program includes weekly individual DBT therapy, weekly DBT skills groups, and 24-hour phone coaching.

Provides mental health counseling services including counseling for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and addiction. Evidence based therapies utilized include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
