The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth. Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

The South Dakota Resource Hotline is part of South Dakota's Statewide targeted response to substance use. The hotline provides a place where individuals are able to reach out for information on treatment resources and support for themselves or someone else. The Substance Use Care Coordination program: Connects participants with substance use resources, such as treatment assessments, treatment programs, counseling and social supports. Provides consistent connections during high-risk times for returned use, which may include post detox and before and after treatment. Provides support working on reaching recovery goals. Assists with making connections with appropriate community referrals for financial assistance, transportation assistance and assessing mental health resources. Connects with referral locations to best understand wait-lists, common barriers to treatment completion and share needed information between referral sources. For new referrals, fill out the Care Coordination Referral Form and the Care Coordinator will reach out in 1-2 business days.

The Arch provides recovery oriented programming that helps residents create client centered treatment plans to address their transition needs back into the community. Lifeways has school-based Addiction and Prevention Counselors in the Rapid City Area School District and limited services in the Douglas School District. Addiction Counselors are also available at main office in Rapid City for all adolescents (public, private and home-schooled) who are experiencing problems with substance use and in need of screening and/or assessment and treatment.

It is designed to help a loved one recognize and change self-destructive thoughts, feelings or behaviors. The intent is to confront the person in a non-threatening way. An intensive, outpatient, 12-step recovery-based center for alcohol and drugs. Services are provided by certified chemical dependency counselors including assessments (walk-in assessments available), day and evening treatment programs, adolescent programs, 12 hour DUI class, Intensive Methamphetamine Treatment (IMT) offered with state approval only, and a Recovery Maintenance Group. This office is located close to the SAM (Sioux Area Metro) Orange bus route.

Care provided by: 24 hour nursing staff, a full-time psychologist, 24 hour on-call doctor, Certified chemical dependency counselors, and ASAM certified Addictionologists. Based on 12-step recovery model with medically monitored detoxification, Dual-diagnosis track with psychiatrist - For co-occurring disorders, diagnosis must be substance use primary and mental health secondary; Inpatient and outpatient gambling program with certified gambling counselors, Substance abuse, inhalant abuse and Methamphetamine treatment track (IMT), Chronic Pain Program, Medication Assisted Treatment - Different medications are available. Keystone utilizes Vivitrol and Naltrexone. May utilize Subutex and other medications to taper during medically monitored detoxification. Keystone does not utilize Methadone or Suboxone for maintenance. Unique services available are Native American cultural program (sweat lodge on site, talking circles, etc.), and a Spiritually based 12-step program. Veterans and retired military. Need to be referred through VA; able to take VA funding. Active duty military and dependents may utilize TRICARE West Insurance.
