It is rooted in the teachings of Medicine Wheel, They Cycle of Life and the Four Laws of Changes. This group is open to all, and may be provided virtually. Program services integrate language and culture, and provide resources and support for families with children from prenatal to grade 3. Goals of the program include supporting parents/primary caregivers as their child's first and most influential teacher, to increase family literacy, to strengthen family-school-community connections, services for the early identification of children with special needs, parent engagement, whether it be full-time, part-time, or flex-time status, and to promote lifelong learning. Family and Child Education Program (FACE) offers school readiness home-based program, assessments, center-based setting, meals and transportation provided for center-based families, parenting skills, adult education / GED completion, and career planning, college preparation, job readiness.

Women's Inipi is open to all women, as well as Two-Spirit and non-binary community members who align with women's spiritual teachings. Positive Indian Parenting (PIP) - an 8-week parent training class for Indigenous parents, caregivers, non-Native foster parents of Indigenous children, and others who strive to be more positive in their approach to parenting. Providing social and emotional support to student veterans transitioning from military service to college life by connecting them to a new generation of social workers trained to deliver culturally responsive care. The program emphasizes the vital relationship between community and people and is built on three foundational pillars: transition assistance, suicide prevention through peer mentorship, and community engagement. Program places social work interns into community, healthcare, and educational settings where service members, veterans, and their families work and live. Members assist with resource navigation, peer connection, and community outreach while strengthening coordination across local partners. Members serve part-time while completing degree-required internships or practicums for academic credit. Through hands-on service, students build military cultural competence and practical skills that contribute to stronger, more connected communities of care.

Nearly all efforts are focused on Latin immigrants. Immigrant families in need are provided food, furniture, school supplies, household items, and diapers. Also provides organizing community English classes and connecting ESL volunteers with new English language learners, networking with immigration service providers in Eastern South Dakota, creating a general referral service for immigrants needing assistance, arranging translation services when needed, assisting families with their efforts to change immigration status, and community outreach to educate the non-immigrant community about obstacles immigrants experience in the Brookings area.

The event takes place in a welcoming, non-clinical setting and includes peer-to-peer conversation, wellness activities, and a free meal. A resource fair is available throughout the day, offering opportunities for one-on-one conversations and connection to support.
