Red Road Talking Circles are rooted in Native American traditions and offer a place for individuals to connect with themselves and others through dialogue and storytelling. All are welcome to join this safe space to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences of recovery. Locations and days of week vary.
Red Road Approach (RRA) men's and women's groups provide a cognitive and experiential curriculum on Native American/Indigenous philosophies, activating the spirit for individuals, families, and communities. Participants are guided through lessons on the impacts of alcohol and drugs on the mind, body, and spirit. This 10-week adult program meets on a weekly basis. Incentives are available for graduates of the program.
Therapeutic Sewing and Beading brings together coffee, laughter, and traditional craft-making! Open to the community as an opportunity to warm up with some coffee and work on beading and sewing with help from experts.
Wellbriety is a 12-step meeting and recovery developed by White Bison. It is rooted in the teachings of Medicine Wheel, They Cycle of Life and the Four Laws of Changes. This group is open to all, and may be provided virtually.
Other cultural activities, such as Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Group, Prayer Songs class and other welcoming events are offered during the week to take care of individuals spirit and keep connected to traditional Indigenous ways of life. Doors are always open for relatives needing to pray, sing, smudge or just talk. Mitakuye oyasin "we are all related".

Members assist with resource navigation, peer connection, and community outreach while strengthening coordination across local partners. Members serve part-time while completing degree-required internships or practicums for academic credit. Through hands-on service, students build military cultural competence and practical skills that contribute to stronger, more connected communities of care.

People-to-People Initiative. Citizen diplomacy network that creates and strengthens partnerships between communities in the United States and those in other countries. Programs include pen-pal relationships, exchange programs, partnerships between the Mayors of each city, and Germanfest.

Accompanies newly arrived Latinos as they seek to understand U.S. cultural norms and expectations, overcome language barriers, and integrate into Sioux Falls and surrounding communities.
Develops educational opportunities that include English language learning for adults, citizenship preparation, and other opportunities to advance.
Offers support to Latinos affected by domestic violence through providing resources, accompaniment, and assessment of immigration options.
Provides an Immigration Program that is recognized and accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice, and that offers competent, professional and affordable immigration counseling and legal services to Latino individuals and families.
Accompanies and educates Latinos while assisting them in accessing social, mental health, medical, dental, legal, employment and other services available in Sioux Falls and the tri-state region.
