Outreach Services delivers library materials directly to people at senior housing, assisted living centers, and care facilities. In addition to the various stops, outreach services also deposits collections of books, large print books, and books on CD at a number of care facilities in Sioux Falls. Homebound Delivery Service is a personalized delivery for library materials directly to people's homes. Day Care Delivery Service is a loan and delivery service of library materials for preschool and younger aged children. A volunteer from the library will deliver new materials to the daycare home and pick up the materials to be returned to the library.

The Bookmobile is dedicated to bring the library to those unable to come to one of the library branches. Bookmobile service is provided to children at schools and daycares in Minnehaha County. The staff also coordinates the Daycare Delivery Service in Sioux Falls. The Bookmobile is parked at the Crooks branch of the library and the staff there organize the program. The primary purpose of the Aberdeen Public Library is to provide resources and services in a variety of media to meet the needs of individuals and groups for education, information, and personal development including recreation and leisure. Services and programming including books, audiobooks, eBooks, book clubs, DVDs, CDs, Magazines, area newspapers, homebound delivery of library materials within the city limits, free literacy and STEAM programs for children ages 0-18 (birth through teens), adult literacy programming, educational and multi-cultural programs, online card catalog and research databases, genealogy research and databases, free test proctoring, free Wi-Fi and internet access, free computer access, technology classes, one-on-one technology help by appointment, community rooms, and curbside pickup.

Library services include access to over 60,000 books, Audio books, Videos, Internet access via 10 computers, Wi-Fi, Digital Content including books and magazines, test proctoring, Teen programming, Adult programming and computer classes, Preschool and Children's programming, and Homebound program.

Offers the following: books, audio books, movies, music CDs, library tours, meeting rooms, art displays, consumer information, auto repair information, tax forms, electronic databases, WIFI, free computer use, interlibrary loan service from other libraries, downloadable audio books and e-books, downloadable magazines, self-service checkout, and books delivered to the homebound and to senior care facilities. ​Programming and services for children including library materials and play spaces, story time programs, Lego Club, summer reading programs, special events, daycare delivery service, and outreach to local schools and child care centers. ​Weekly programming for Grades 7-12 including gaming, trivia, movies, and more. ​Adult programming that include book discussions, adult reading programs, educational and cultural speakers, events, and classes. ​Special collections include the Marge Tauber South Dakota Room (South Dakota and Watertown historical), genealogical books, large print books, Children's Educational kits, and Book Club Tubs.

Eligible library card holders can check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, games, puzzles, tool kits, park and museum passes, fishing kits, and disc golf equipment. Access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming videos through the library's digital collections. Use computers or Wi-Fi, or print from home using the mobile printing app, and pick up prints in the library or at the drive-thru window. Get help with mobile devices - iPads, Kindles, smart phones, etc. Use the library's makerspace to laser engrave, print custom stickers, poster, banners, 3D printing, and more. Enhance job skills or get homework help using the library's online learning resources. Participate in library events for all ages. Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community. The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County. ​Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Also offers Reference and Genealogy Materials, Printing, Scanning, and Photocopying services, as well as notary services. Story Time for children ages 3 - 6, 10:30am, every Wednesday.

Services at the Hot Springs Public Library include books, audio books, interlibrary loans, magazines, movies, newspapers, color copy and fax machine, downloadable audio and e-reader books, DVD's, meeting and study room, public computers, and reference questions. Programs include story time (see website for dates and time), proctoring for non-traditional college students, and summer reading program for all ages.
