The goal is to help older adults and caregivers in Bon Homme, Charles Mix, Douglas, and Hutchinson counties access services and supports to successfully age at home. The program is open to help with identifying resources for many needs and focuses on transportation, food security, social isolation, safe housing, and healthcare navigation/referrals.

Dakota Guardianship and Advocacy Service Lines includes the following:
Guardianship and Conservatorship: court appointed guardianship services to incapacitated seniors, disabled adults, Veterans, and minors.
- Healthcare Advocacy: assists individuals through the complicated network of various healthcare systems.
Powers of Attorney: can serve as a durable medical power of attorney to legally make responsible decisions on behalf of an individual concerning medical decisions and treatment. Additionally, also serves as a financial power of attorney to manage assets and investments.
End of Life Planning: mediates potential difficult decisions within families including funeral planning, assisting with settling probates, partnering with attorneys to coordinate will planning and serving as a personal representative to settle estates.
Elder Abuse & Neglect: experience working with elder abuse & neglect cases.
