Provides nursing facility, independent living, and assisted living care. Nursing facility care is offered to individuals that need ongoing 24-hour care. Provides medical services, social services to assess and meet each residents cognitive, behavior, psychological, and social needs, dietary services, activities, and housekeeping and laundry services. Independent living services provide a common area for visiting, maintenance services, therapy services, security system, dietary services, and more. Assisted living care provides all the services of independent living plus some nursing services.

Vitalant, previously known as United Blood Services, is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and abundant blood supply for most of South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, and northern Nebraska. Individuals can give blood 3 times a year. Volunteers are routinely needed to give blood and blood components, sponsor and coordinate blood drives, deliver blood products to hospitals and provide clerical support to the donor recruitment/marketing departments.

Public defenders are provided individuals who cannot afford an attorney for criminal cases, including both magistrate and circuit court, abuse and neglect cases, juvenile matters, mental health committals, and alcohol committals. Applications for counsel are available at the Clerk of Courts Office or online. If a Judge determines an individual meets the financial qualifications for a court-appointed attorney, an attorney will be assigned. Court-appointed attorney rates for the state of South Dakota are reviewed and set by the South Dakota Supreme Court on an annual basis. Clients will be billed at an hourly rate of $100.00, and reimbursement for such services may be ordered pursuant to the provisions of SDCL 23A-40-10.

An addiction wellness nonprofit that provides professional, compassionate peer coaching to anyone impacted by alcohol or other drugs, including loved ones. Peer coaching is a recovery support system where coaches draw on their lived experiences to help others on their paths to wellness. A peer coach is a wellness partner who provides knowledge, support, skills and accountability, depending on each person's individual needs. Coaches assist with all areas of a person's life, not just the use of alcohol or other drugs. Sobriety is not required, and members are supported in whatever wellness goals are meaningful to them.

Provides immediate crisis support and advocacy to rape and sexual assault victims 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by phone. Response is provided whether the incident took place recently or in the past. Services are also available for the family and friends affected by the incident as well. The program provides services at hospital emergency rooms, child assessment centers, through a telephone crisis line, and through the judicial system. Follow-up professional counseling is made available at no charge through Solace.
