InfantSEE is a public health program, managed by Optometry Cares - the AOA Foundation. Under this program, participating optometrists provide a comprehensive infant eye assessment between 6 and 12 months of age as a no-cost public service.

Provides a variety of home health service including nursing services (nail care, diabetic testing and monitoring, injections, catheter and ostomy care, etc.), personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding, ambulation & mobility, incontinence care etc.), homemaking/companion care (laundry, housekeeping, meal preparation, etc.), and structured family caregiving (a program which provides a financial stipend to family members who provide personal care and support services to an individual in their private home or the private home of the principal caregiver).

The County Extension Office is the base of the 4-H Youth Program Advisor. A team of first responders who work with law enforcement when there has been a death by suicide in Pennington County. The Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) Team is called to the scene to help survivors with the next steps and offer any extra support and resources to the surviving loved ones. The Loss Team follows families for up to a year after their loss with case management services.

Individual and couples mental health and chemical dependency counseling to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of issues including, but not limited to; depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), physical and or sexual abuse, trauma, chemical dependency and other addictions, co-occurring disorders, family issues, behavioral issues, relationship issues, sexual identity, adjustment disorders, career issues, adoption issues, attachment issues, personality disorders, stress management, women's issues, eating disorders, post traumatic stress (PTSD), and crisis prevention. Offers EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Telehealth sessions available. Also an LGBTQ+ friendly provider.

CES is an assessment and referral system to housing resources for those who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. It is not a direct application for assistance; rather trained assessors gather information from households to assess needs and barriers to housing. Referrals are sent to providers in communities where vacancies are available. Households can access CES through a physical access point or calling toll free 1-800-664-1349 if a physical access point is not available in their local community.

Housing assistance programs assist eligible households with rent, in either a designated housing unit or a unit of choice. Stop by during regular business hours to pick one up. If there are no printed lists in the lobby, please call and tell the office so they are able to resupply. Note, the properties on the list are not affiliated with Sioux Falls Housing, and SFH is not responsible for the keeping the information current. Sioux Falls Housing does not help people find housing, they just provide the list. As of September, 2025, Sioux Falls Housing and Redevelopment Commission has closed the mod-rehab waitlist, the housing choice voucher waitlist and the Hopwa waiting list.
