They are required to sign a one-year lease when admitted to the program. WHA owns and manages a 60 unit Hi-Rise building for elderly/disabled individuals and 25 scattered family units in Watertown under the Public Housing program. Applicants must meet income guidelines established by HUD and meet eligibility requirements with regards to a criminal background. Previous landlord references are also required with application. Tenants are required to pay at least 30% of their monthly adjusted income towards rent and utilities.
